Proteomics of In Vivo Models of Ischemic Stroke: A Systematic review with a Systems Biological Perspective

A set of techniques were used to validate the establishment of in vivo model. These are known as "Pre-Proteomics Validation Techniques". Here, each 130 ivProt studies were evaluated to extract the techniques used to validate the animal model. A binary coding is used to indicate the presence (i.e. 1) or absence (i.e. 0) of a specific validation technique in a particular study. Based on the extracted data for each study, we have calculated 1) Score Per Study (column end)- referring to the number of techniques used per study 2) Cumulative Score (row end)- referring the number of studies using the technique.
