2019

Dr. Arun Patil secured the “Post-Doc fellowship” from the department of Cardiac Pathology, Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, Maryland.

Ms. Namitha K. secured the “Best Poster Presentation” award at International Conference on Advances in Polymeric Materials & Human Healthcare. 

Ms. Sadiya Bi Shaikh secured the “Young Scientist” and Best Oral Presentation” award at 4th International Conference on Nutraceuticals and Chronic Diseases, 2019 held at IIT Guwahati. 

Mr. Shaheer Koniyan secured “Best Poster” award in the First TCGA Conference and Workshop in India at IISER, Pune.

Mr. Jagadish Kudkuli secured the travel grant award by 12th annual meeting of the ‘Korean Society of Medical Oncology’ and an opportunity to attend their International Conference to present the poster entitled ‘Radiation therapy-associated QOL assessment In head and neck cancer patients’.

Mr. Utsav Sen secured an opportunity to attend and present the poster entitled ‘Vitamin C and B3 induced apoptosis in breast cancer stem cells by down regulation of pluripotency gene expression’ at 6th Asia-Pacific Congress of Interventional Oncology (APCIO), Kaula Lumpur, Malaysia.

Ms. Varshasnata Mohanty secured an opportunity to attend the International Conference of Australian Proteomics Society and to present a poster titled ‘Identification of serum based biomarkers of the onset of oral cancer among tobacco users’.

Mr. Muhammad Nihad A.S. secured an opportunity to attend 30 days training on ‘Tumor Cell Culture and Pharmacology Agents’ at MN institute of pharmacology Mario Negri-IRCCS, Italy.

Mr. Mahesh M. Gouda received a postdoctoral fellowship from Helmholtz Zentrum München, German.

 

Ms. Sadiya Bi Shaikh secured the “Abstract scholarship award” and “Youthfull performar award” under thematic poster session in the American Thoracic Society Conference at Dallas, USA. Also she had got “DST-SERB travel grant” for participating in this conference.

 

Ms. Saptami Kanekar secured SRF from ICMR for the project titled ”Modulation of quorum sensing in selected gram-negative pathogenic bacteria using novel molecules.

 

Mr. Shaheer Koniyan secured SRF from ICMR for the project titled ”A study on radio sensitization properties of natural compound against cancer cells”.

Mr. Sadiya Bi Shaikh secured SRF from ICMR for the project titled ”Fk506-binding protein 4, binding protein 1a and binding protein 9-A potential drug targets for Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis are down regulated by the Indian spice Curcumin”.

Mr. Rex D. A. B. secured SRF from ICMR for the project titled ”Evaluation of spatiotemporal influences of interleukins IL-1 family cytokine: Interleukin-33 on cellular signal transduction pathways”.

Ms. Namitha K. secured SRF from ICMR for the project titled ”Stimuli-responsive, tannic acid releasing biodegradable polymer hydrogels for chronic wound healing”.

 

Ms. Sumrati Gurtoo secured SRF from ICMR for the project titled ”Identification of blood and urinary markers to predict severity of neonatal asphyxia using high-resolution mass spectrometry”.

Ms. Sapna Kannan secured SRF from ICMR for the project titled ”Point of care testing platform for early diagnosis of Leptospirosis”.

Mr. Vipin C. secured SRF from ICMR for the project titled “Dynamics of biofilm formation and virulence factors in urinary catheter associated Pseudomonas aeruginosa strains”.

Ms. Sonia Joseph secured “Best poster” award on the topic entitled “Fabrication of electrochemical paper analytical devices(ePAD) for selective determination of Dopamine” in International Conference on Chemistry and Physics of Materials from 19th – 21st December, 2018 at Thrissur.

 

 

Ms. Namitha K. secured “ACS best poster” award on the topic entitled “Stimuli responsive tannic releasing biodegradable hydrogels for chronic wound healing” in International Conference on Chemistry and Physics of Materials from 19th – 21st December, 2018 at Thrissur.

 

Ms. Ms. Gayathree Karthikkeyan secured “Best poster” award on the topic entitled “etabolite landscape involved in neuro – protective functions of Yashtimadhu (Glycyrrhiza glabra) in rotenone induced Parkinson’s disease model” in International Conference on Proteomics for Cell Biology and Molecular Medicine from 12th – 14th December, 2018 at Pune.
