I have completed my post-graduation in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Central University of Kerala. I am working at Yenepoya research centre since June 2018. I am working as a Junior Research Fellow under an ICMR project titled “Therapeutic potential of curcumin in regulation of IL-17A during acute lung injury and fibrosis”. I am familiar with molecular biology, histological techniques and animal handling.

Pulmonary fibrosis, inflammatorty cytokines, molecular biology

Research

I am working on the role of inflammatory cytokines and components of fibrinolytic system in different stages of pulmonary fibrosis. The project involves examining their mechanistic role in progression of fibrosis. We will also be checking the efficiency of curcumin in regulating inflammatory cytokines  and components of fibrinolytic system.
