Kriti completed her graduation in Zoology, Botany and Chemistry from Lucknow University, U.P. She pursued her Master’s in Bioinformatics from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. As part of her master’s dissertation, she worked on a project entitled “A Database of Stress Genes in Order Nostocales of Cyanobacteria”. During her master’s she had good insight into molecular modelling, docking and simulation studies. She also had good knowledge about various bioinformatics databases and tools.


  1. Worked as a Young Professional-II in ICAR- National Bureau of Fish Genetic Resources,
  2. Worked as Research assistant at MRD Life Sciences,
  3. Worked as Project Assistant-II in CSIR- National Botanical Research Institute, Lucknow, P.
  4. Worked as a Bioinformatics trainee in DBT funded BCIL Bioinformatics Training Programme in the project entitled “Insilico investigation & Comparative analysis of some medicinal plants against Dengue Virus”.

Currently, I am working on NGS Data analysis and involved in development of various Bioinformatics tools. My interests lie in learning different programming languages and applying them into tool and database development. Also, I am working in the area of Bioinformatics, High-throughput NGS Data Analysis, Designing Perl Scripts, Integration of the R packages, multi-omics data analysis, Applications development, Database Development and Management for the various aspects on Bioinformatics and Molecular biology.
