I am Namitha K, completed my B.Sc degree in chemistry from Kannur University, and M.Sc. degree in Biopolymer science from Cochin University of science and technology (CUSAT), Kerala. Presently, I am working as a Junior Research Fellow in Yenepoya research centre at Yenepoya (Deemed to be University). Since April 2017, I have been involved in the research activities to develop stimuli-responsive polymeric hydrogels and nanogels for biomedical applications such as sustained drug delivery, chronic wound healing etc. I am also involved in the synthesis of block copolymers by modern living polymerization techniques for various biomedical applications.

Research

Execute research in the field of polymer chemistry, especially in the development of polymer biomaterials for biomedical applications. PhD topic is “Biocompatible stimuli responsive hydrogels/nanogels and polymer Prodrugs for biomedical applications.
