I have completed my Master’s degree in Bio-Medical science (2016) from Nitte University, India. During my master’s thesis, I worked on a project entitled “Distribution and Diversity of Aggregatibacteractinomycetemcomitans and Porphyromonasgingivalis in Coastal Karnataka Patients with Chronic Periodontitis”. Later I joined Yenepoya Research Centre in August, 2017 and am working on project entitled as “Prevalence and antifungal sensitivity of Dermatophytes causing Tinea corporis in various Taluks of Dakshina Kannada district of Karnataka state.

I am currently working on the PhD tittle “Prevalence and antifungal sensitivity of Dermatophytes causing Tinea corporis in various Taluks of Dakshina Kannada district of Karnataka state”, The objectives of the study includes collection of the sample (skin scrapings) from patient ,isolation , microscopy and also molecular method. Followed by checking the prevalence of the infection in various taluks of D.K.
