Research Interest/Area

Proteomics, Metabolomics, Cancer biology

Research

The current work in CSBMM is focused on identification of molecular alterations associated with gastric adenocarcinoma undertaking both the proteomic and metabolomics approaches. Gastric cancer is one of most common type of malignancy which causes substantial number of cancer related death worldwide. This is due to poor prognosis of gastric cancer. This study will help to identify the altered proteins and metabolites associated with gastric cancer which in turn will help to understand disease progression.
