Swapna Nair completed M.Sc. in Biochemistry from Bharathiar University, Tamil Nadu in 2006. She worked on the mutational analysis of Exon-7 of PTEN gene in Breast cancer with the comparison of Exon -5 and 9.

Research

Currently working on analysing the role of nuclear hormone receptors in radiation induced epithelial mesenchymal transition (EMT). This work includes the epigenetic reprogramming of genes involved in EMT upon induction with phytoestrogens.
