CELL CULTURE FACILITY

The cell culture facility has sophisticated equipments such as, Class II Biosafety Cabinets, CO2 Incubators for hypoxia and normoxia, Automated Cell Counters, Hypoxia Chamber, Inverted Phase Contrast and Stereo microscopes, facility for Cold Storage, and Cryopreservation. This facility has Fluorescent imagers such as the Zoe and the EVOS 5000 imaging system for the deeper understanding and visualization of the molecular changes at the cell level. For cell sorting and flow cytometry assays, Fluorescence Cell Sorter (FACS) and a Guava EasyCyte Flow Cytometer are used. It supports culturing of primary cells, established cells, stem cells and cell differentiation studies. Additionally, the facility maintains an in-house repository of a diverse collection of cell lines. It is well-positioned to explore novel approaches in regenerative, immunological, and toxicological research, contributing to high-quality and impactful scientific advancements.
