The Systems Biology & Molecular Medicine (SBMM) facility integrates advanced multi-omics technologies to explore biological systems and disease mechanisms. The centre is well-equipped for state-of-the-art proteomic and metabolomic investigations with Orbitrap Fusion Tribrid, Sciex QTRAP 6500 mass spectrometers, Vanquish Flex HPLC system, and computational facility with high end servers for large scale data analysis. This facility leads pioneering research efforts, striving to make substantial advancements in research areas such as personalized medicine, biomarker discovery, complex disease modelling, neglected tropical diseases, plant and agricultural omics, viro-omics, neuro-omics and translational molecular medicine. It emphasize interdisciplinary collaboration and also provides training that enables researchers with the expertise and resources to decode molecular interactions and translate findings into therapeutic strategies.
